At a recent meeting of the Dallas-Wilcox Bama Club a record number of participants and scholarship winners joined the group to hear former University of Alabama quarterback Tyler Watts and Miss Alabama Valerie Stewart speak.

Club member Ronnie Leet said he was very pleased with the crowd, which also raised money for tornado victims.

“We had a wonderful event with a record crowd of 120 plus attendees, our largest ever,” he said. “We had a silent auction of several items where the proceeds from that auction will be donated to a tornado relief fund in Tuscaloosa.”
