Pullom captured

The Selma Police Department made another arrest in connection with a shooting that took place Aug. 25 in the 2300 block of U.S. Highway 80 East.
Demarious Pullom, 20, whose address is listed as 37 Town Circle, Selma, was taken into custody at about 6:05 p.m. Sunday afternoon and charged with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
According to reports and witnesses, Pullom reportedly used a high-powered rifle to fire three shots at the unidentified victim. Two of the bullets struck the victim, one grazing his hand, the other grazing his head. The victim, who knew Pullom, was treated at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
According to reports from the Selma Police Department, the victim, along with witnesses at the scene, some of which are relatives of Pullom, identified Pullom as the shooter. The victim also identified Pullom in a photo lineup.
The shooting took place around 9:30 p.m. near a business on U.S. Highway 80.
During the investigation, the department said it had video footage of the incident from a camera that was positioned nearby.
Pullom is being held at the Dallas County Jail on $500,000 bond.
