Multiple firearms charges have Selma police officers seeking help from the public in apprehending Tyrone Javel Stallworth.
Selma Chief of Police William T. Riley said Stallworth is wanted on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle Sept. 2 and also has warrants for harassing communications and probation violation.
Stallworth, Riley said, could also be connected to an incident that occurred Tuesday in downtown Selma.
“We also had a shooting that occurred on the early morning hours of Sept, 13 in the 3200 block of Water Avenue and he is a person of interest in those incidents,” he said. “We know that one individual was struck in the foot from that incident and he is a person that we wish to talk to in reference to those shootings as well.”
Stallworth is a 27-year-old black male who is about 5-foot-11-inches and weighs 180 pounds.
Riley said Stallworth is dangerous and asks the public to come forth with information on his whereabouts.
“We’d like for anybody with any information to call our crime stoppers numbers or the Selma Police Department in reference to his whereabouts,” he said. “We feel he is armed and dangerous and we would like to have him off the street.”
Anyone with information can call the department at 874-2120 or the Crime Stoppers line at 1-800-442-7463.
