Judy Francine Holland Bagby

Judy Francine Holland Bagby, 68, of Selma, died Saturday October 22, 2011, at Noland Long Term Care Facility, Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, AL, after a lengthy battle with Leukemia.

Judy was born May 23rd, 1943, in Mineral Wells, Texas. Her parents were Edward Lee Holland and Alice Eula Brown Holland. She and her family moved to Selma, when she was just a few years old, to be near her brother Homer Lee Holland who had settled in Selma after being stationed at Craig Army Air Field.

Her survivors include, her husband Charles David Bagby, Jr., to whom she was married for 50 years; her children: Mundi Francine Bagby Ingram, of Selma; Charles David Bagby, III (Lisa), of Selma; grandchildren: Amanda Francine Collins Green (Jason), of Tennessee; Joshua Lee Collins (Leigh), of Selma; Margaret O’Shelley Ingram, of Selma; Charles David Bagby IV, of Selma; Tori Holland Bagby, of Selma; great-granddaughters: Michaela Francine Hines and Elizabeth Grace Hines, of Tennessee; brother: Homer Lee Holland, deaceased, (Doris), of Selma; sisters: Thelma Louise Holland Fair (Frank), of Florence, AL; Alta Jerrine Holland Crawford (Bobby), of Selma; sisters-in-law: Cheryl Ann Bagby Reeves (Russell), of Foley, AL; Kathlene Evadne Bagby, of Foley, AL; brother-in-law: Jonathan Wadsworth Bagby (Barbara), of Highland, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 26, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday October 27, 2011 at the funeral home with Church of Christ Ministers, Brother Hunter Bulger and Brother Harry Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at the Bagby Family Cemetery located at 8757 County Rd. 39, Selma, AL; all who wish to do so are invited to attend the graveside services.

Pallbearers will be, Joshua Collins, Buck Shand, Bobby Langston, Donnie Mott, Bob Ed Reed, Tommy Fancher, Jeff Fancher, Kevin Rinehart, Kevin Hines and Don Yelverton. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Robert Avery, Dr. Julian P. Howell, Jr., and Dr. Wick Manny.
