Martha Smith, a resident of Selma,died  December 19,2011 at age 72.She is preceded by her parents,James Mayo Halbrook and Mary Roberta Halbrook.She is survived by her husband Louis Marion Smith,three brothers,James Halbrook of Jacksonville,Fla.,Robert Halbrook of Grand Bay,Ala,Eddie Halbrook (Pam) two children,James Scott Wall(Theresa) of Indianapolois,Ind.,Vickie Lynn Ross ( Michal) of Savannah ,Ga., five grandchildren and one great grand child.Internment was by private ceremony in Old Live Oak Cemetary with Dr.Kenny Hatcher presiding.Pall barrers were Dusty Brown,Christopher Brown,Buddy Swift,Richard Waugh,Donnie Shehan and William P.Shehan.
