“My goal is to see all the U.S.,” Barlow said. “We go camping to different resorts across the U.S. — we didn’t see all 50 states but we’ve seen a good many.

“We got on Route 66 and went to Santa Monica (and) earned $30,000 for Leukemia research,” Barlow said of her motorcycle excursions.

As a member of the local Civitan group, Barlow likes to stay active in her community.

“In January, (we) gave donations to SABRA house and in the future we will visit nursing homes and volunteer with the Special Olympics,” Barlow said. “We do something every month. The Civitan is the main group I enjoy.

Barlow and her husband have two children, Jennifer and Kristie, and five grandchildren.
