Joan Etheridge Gibbs age 73 of Gallion, AL., died February 6, 2012 at her daughters home. She was born December 22, 1938 in Demopolis, AL. Mrs. Gibbs was a retired banker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Russell (Heather) Gibbs of Demopolis, AL; and John (Jennifer) Gibbs of Gallion, AL; a daughter, Sebie (Brian) Sellers of Gallion, AL; two brothers, Roger Etheridge and Larry Etheridge of Linden, AL; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Gibbs of Prattville, AL; and 7 grandchildren
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden, AL., on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Billy Harris and Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
