Keith blows out St. Jude

Keith came out smoking in the third quarter with help from ZyKia Pettway and Lyteisha Phillips, who both finished with 15 points.
Before the Lady Pirates knew what hit them, Keith was up 53-19. It only got worse from there.
By the end of the third quarter Keith was firmly in command of the game with a 61-27 lead.
At that point, Williams emptied the bench. Unfortunately for St. Jude, the reserves were just as effective.
The underclassmen continued the onslaught launched by the starters and slowly built the 40-point lead by the time the clock ran out.
The Lady Bears strong showing left Williams little to critique. He said the team will simply hit the court trying to maintain the momentum built from the sub-regional blowout.
“We’re not changing anything,” he said. “We’re coming in and we’re going to continue to do what we have done all year. We’ll do all the things that got us here. There is no need to change anything now.”
The Lady Bears, now 21-5, will hit the court at Alabama State University Tuesday at 3 p.m.
