This year, the tournament consisted of the Selma, Uniontown and Dothan squads. In the past, teams have also traveled from Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Chatom, Mobile and Anniston.

The next level of competition will be the state basketball tournament in Montgomery March 9 and 10.

Barlow said the Cahaba Center is also preparing for the local track and field games, which will be held at Memorial Stadium April 4 from 10 a.m. to noon.
