“What we plan to do is setup in our auditorium and we’ll be taking applications,” Hardy said. “We’ll have the parents come in, and we’ll have refreshments and door prizes. Basically, that day when they come in we’ll have packets that we’ll give out that will have a cover sheet to tell them everything they need in order to apply.”

Hardy said parents will need their child’s certified birth certificate, a proof of income, a Blue Slip (immunization record), and Social Security and Medicaid cards.

Hardy said she’s hoping for good attendance to the kick off.

“I hope we’ll have a big turnout where parents will come and we’ll be able to get the applications we need for the upcoming year,” Hardy said.
