From strollers to baby clothes to shoes, luggage and bags, the Little Lamb Consignment Sale continues to be widely popular among local mothers and their children.
The spring sale, set for March 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and March 17 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. inside the Old National Guard Armory, will offer a variety of items including books, baby equipment — such as strollers, car seats and high chairs, maternity clothing, ladies shoes and DVDs among others.
Little Lamb Council member Eleanor Nichols said the sale is such a success because it helps the community.
“It helps mothers get rid of things they no longer need and gives them a chance to purchase things they currently need,” Nichols said. “It’s well organized and the money goes to charity.”
Having donated more than $60,000 to local charities such as the Selma-Dallas County Public Library, Selma Area Food Bank, Sav-A-Life and the Salvation Army in the past, the organization continues to search for giving opportunities.
