With the 5th Annual Paws Ball Auction in the books, the event’s organizers are pleased to say it was a big success.
More than 250 people showed up at the Carl C. Morgan Convention Saturday for the Paws Ball Auction to help raise money for the Central Alabama Animal Shelter.
Sarah Youngblood, a member of the Central Alabama Animal Shelter board, said the Paws Ball auction went great.
“It went fabulous. We had a huge turnout, lots of community support,” Youngblood said. “We can tell the community is just more and more involved, and it’s becoming a bigger and better event every year.”
Youngblood said proceeds from the auction go to helping the animals at the Central Alabama Animal Shelter.
