Joe Sanford Stinson, 78, a resident of Billingsley, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Stinson was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irene Stinson; three sisters, Pat, Betty, and Judy; one brother, Dennis. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nime Stinson; one daughter, Christi Stinson (David) Jones; three sons, Steve (Sue) Stinson, Kenny (Miranda) Stinson; Ray (Teresa) Stinson; nine grandchildren, April (Brian) Ferguson, Hilary (Jonny) Fank, Courtney Stinson, Alex Stinson, Dallas Prescott, Haley Prescott, Sarah Grace Henderson, Josh Partin, Tyler Partin; nine great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Prattville Memorial Chapel Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Billingsley Baptist Church building fund in Joe’s honor at 2011 Church St., Billingsley, AL 36006.
