The Dallas-Wilcox Bama Club is kicking off the 2014 football season with a speaker who knows a thing or two about the Crimson Tide football program.
Eddie Conyers, who serves at Alabama’s football practice referee, will speak to the Bama Club Monday, Aug. 11 at 6:15 p.m. The cost for Bama Club members is $25 per person and the price for non-members is $35 per person.
“He has great stories about not only what is happening with the football team currently, but about Coach Bryant,” Dallas-Wilcox Bama Club president Ronnie Leet said. “He has some stories about Coach Saban and he is really, really hilarious. He is so funny.”
Conyers has served as the University of Alabama’s football practice official since the early 1960s, so he will likely be able to provide fans a sneak peak with how the Crimson Tide may look this season.
Dinner will also be served at the event, which will take place at the Carl C. Morgan Center, located at 211 Washington Street.
Dress for the event is casual.
