William Henry Travis, age 70, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away August 10, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Travis and mother, Eva Travis Sykes.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Travis; children, Elizabeth Travis, Ellen Travis and Ronald (Drema) Travis; brothers, Dalton Travis and Randolph Travis; sister, Faye Sullivan; grandchildren, Christina Travis, Nikole Travis and Brook-Lyn Travis and many friends who were very special to “Travis.”

The family will host a visitation Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Damascus Baptist Church, 6816 County Road 130, Enterprise, MS, 39330.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL, 36111.
