Memorial service for Timothy Allan Kelley, 57, of Anniston, will be 1 pm Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Leydenhill Presbyterian Chapel in Blue Mountain with Buck Brown officiating. Mr. Kelley passed away Tuesday at VA Medical Center in Birmingham.
Survivors include his son, Robert Wyatt (Kristi), father, Henry L. Kelley, sister, Bonita Kelley, two brothers, Dave Kelley (Debora) and Steve Kelley, two grandchildren, Jackson Wyatt and Isabella Wyatt, numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Kelley and brother Robert Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was a native of Calhoun County and lived in Selma, AL for 25 years. He was a graduate of Saks High School Class of 1976. Mr. Kelley was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a lover of life, family and friends. Crimson ran through his veins. Ten years ago he accepted Jesus the true “Crimson Flow”. He also thought Alabama football was better than snuff but not as dusty. “Roll Tide”. When you called his phone his voice message was always comical. His last message was “I’m in Mexico playing ping pong”. I’m sure his message now would be “I’m in heaven fishing with Jesus and I’ve hooked a whopper”. Mr. Kelley was also a Tony Stewart fan.
