The Vaughan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is saying it’s the perfect time to stock up on fall and winter accessories.
The group’s Masquerade Frenzy is back at the Vaughan Regional Medical Center tower classroom Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 7 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“We really would like for the public to come out and participate in it,” said Martha Plummer, auxiliary president.
Items at the event include jewelry, scarves, Alabama and Auburn team jewelry, men’s watches, rings and much more. And as always, each item is only $5.
The Auxiliary hosts the sale twice a year to raise money for the organization and its scholarship fund.
“[The sale] benefits the scholarship program for the Auxiliary,” said Plummer.
The students who receive the scholarship must be in their second year of medical school and from Dallas County or the surrounding area.
The event has been going on for many years and Plummer said is always successful in raising funds for the scholarship program.
