Missing man reported safe in Tuscaloosa

A Selma man who was reported missing Thursday has been found safe in Tuscaloosa County.
Tremayne Jay Lundy was found safe in a Tuscaloosa area shelter on Friday, Dec. 12, according to Lt. Curtis Muhannad with the Selma Police Department.
The 38-year-old Selma man was last seen Tuesday and reported missing by his grandmother on Thursday. He suffers from a mental illness and has been a patient at the Cahaba Center, Muhannad said.
“The Selma Police Department Special Victim’s Unit confirmed the information and notified the family of Mr. Lundy’s current location. He was safe and unharmed,” Muhannad said. “Selma Police Department would like to thank all of our media partners with their assistance in locating Mr. Lundy.”
