Lowndes 44, Morgan 40 (Boys)

Morgan Academy lost 44-40 to Lowndes Academy Tuesday in a game that came down to the final possessions.

The Senators (7-9) went just 8-for-20 from the free throw line, which ended up playing an important role in the final result.

Morgan’s Jackson Henderson led all scorers in the game with 15 points.

Ryan Tindoll and Wade Howard each scored 12 points to lead Lowndes.

Morgan plays its first area game of the season Thursday at Autauga Academy.

 

Dallas County 64, Billingsley 31 (Boys)

Dallas County (12-4) rolled over Billingsley Tuesday 64-31 on the road.

Selma overcame 35 turnovers to defeat Paul Bryant 41-35 in a key area game Tuesday.

Jamya Smith and Areyana Williams each scored 12 points to lead the way for the Lady Saints (14-5), who stayed unbeaten in area play.
