Mr. Earnest L. McGuire, age 70, of Selma, passed away Jan. 3, 2015, at Baptist South Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Gaines Chapel AME Church and will be officiated by the Rev. John Campbell. Burial will follow in Gaines Chapel Cemetery in Sardis, and will be directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service. He is survived by his spouse, Maxine M. McGuire; two sons, Earnest McGuire Jr. and Terrell McGuire; three daughters, Towana McGuire, Rhonda (Edgar) Johnson, La Tonya (Thomas) Williams; two brothers, Oscar (Phyllis) McGuire and Royal McGuire; sister, Lillie McGuire; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
