Margaret Elizabeth Girlie Bamberg

Margaret Elizabeth Girlie Bamberg, born Nov. 29, 1942, went to be with the Lord Jan. 7, 2015, at the age of 72.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bamberg; father, Robert Girlie; and grandson, Michael Glass.

She leaves behind her children, Darlene Curry, Deborah (Gary) Cowley and Denise Glass; grandchildren, Morgan Curry (Andre’) Schillinger, Shane (Amber) Curry, Brooks (Marissa) Cowley, Conn (Melissa) Cowley, Tabitha Glass Aguilar, Caleb Cowley and Zachary Cowley; four great-grandchildren; mother, Eunice Girlie; sister, Betty Waloga (Stan); brothers, Calvin Girlie (Carolyn), Bobby Girlie (Peggy) and Ronnie Gill (Carol); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Rich and the Rev. Scott Girlie officiating. Private family burial will follow in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Heiberger. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be Kenny Girlie, Shane Curry, Conn Cowley, Brooks Cowley, Zachary Cowley and Caleb Cowley.
