Mr. Albert C. Jackson Sr., age 78, of Birmingham, formerly of Sardis, passed away Jan. 27, 2015, in Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Greater New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 1801 Summerfield Road in Selma with the Rev. Reynolds Wesley officiating. Burial will follow in East Salem Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his five sons, Albert C. Jackson Jr., Mack Aurthur Jackson, Stanley Roberts, Gregory Roberts and Quincy Sturdivant; two daughters, Teresa Roberts and Beverly Roberts; two brothers, Willie E. Davis and Roy Davis; two sisters, Verba (Reynolds) Wesley and Loretta (Duke) Matheiu; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
