Selma authorities search for missing woman

The Selma Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 23-year-old Selma woman.
The missing woman is Jasmine Monique Jones. She was reported missing Wednesday by her aunt.
Jones is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and a red heart and ribbon tattoo on her left shoulder.
The woman’s aunt told police that her niece had been staying with her boyfriend, but he advised authorities that she left his residence on March 26.
“She advised that her niece has been staying with her boyfriend, but he advised that Ms. Jones left his residence … and had not been heard from since, “ said Sgt. Evelyn Ghant with the Selma Police Department.
She was last seen in the 1600 block of Washington Street wearing a blue shirt, dark jacket and brown pants.
