Habitat for Humanity needs help to build homes

Everyone deserves to have somewhere to call home, and Selma Habitat for Humanity does that every year by helping one family build a house.
Since the Selma chapter opened its doors, it has put more than 50 families in affordable homes to call their own. The group of volunteers builds homes from the ground up and helps maintain homes that were built by Habitat for Humanity.
The people that give their time to do this should be appreciated, and there is a great way to show that appreciation tonight.
Selma Habitat for Humanity is hosting its twelth annual auction, which will give people a chance to get a taste of Selma and bid on items that were donated by local businesses that believe in what the orgnaization stands for and does every year.
The auction is at the Carl C. Morgan Convention Center and starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 a person and $25 a couple.
This is a great opportunity for the community to show support fot Habitat for Humanity. We encourage you to show your support by attending the auction and helping someone find a home.
