Hancock, Daisy Yvonne (Von), 90, a resident of Union Springs, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Rich and the Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mary Fiveash; husband, Sidney Hancock; and grandson, Jonathan (Hootie) Hancock.
She is survived by two sons, Allen (Joyce) Hancock of Atlanta and Art (Jill) Hancock of Union Springs; and daughter, Kathy Hancock of Union Springs.
Pallbearers will be Frank Moorer, Brownlee Fiveash, Richard Hancock, Jesse Robinson, Bill Hancock and Ethan Evans.
