Concordia announces Homecoming plans

Concordia College Alabama is gearing up for its annual homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Memorial Stadium.
Concordia alumni and the entire Selma Community are invited to participate in the events.
The homecoming parade will kick off at 10 a.m., beginning at the School of Discovery and finishing at Memorial Stadium.
The parade will feature the Concordia Marching Band and auxiliary, cheerleaders, homecoming court and ROTC.
Marching bands and groups from local high schools, middle schools and elementary schools will also participate in the parade.
The Grand Marshal leading the parade will be the Rev. Ottis Culliver of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma.
Kickoff for the homecoming football game will be at 1 p.m. against Tiffin University.
The concession stand will be open as well as a hospitality tent with complimentary refreshments for Concordia alumni.
