Domonique Jones ran for touchdowns of 40, 50 and 60 yards as Keith (2-6) ended a three game losing streak with a 38-7 win over Isabella (1-7).

The Bears led 16-0 at the half after quarterback Brian Crum threw a shovel pass to Ja’Quan Lipscomb, who raced down the field for a Keith touchdown. Craig Carter also added two scores for the Bears and also had two two-point conversions.

Marquez Hatcher had two interceptions and Devion Johnson had an interception to lead the Keith defense.

“This season has just been a roller coaster of emotions, so hopefully things will work out in our favor and we will get a chance to go to the postseason,” said Keith head coach Harry Crum. “It is definitely great to get back into the win column.”

The Bears have been finished with region games since a loss to A.L. Johnson a couple of weeks ago.

Keith’s playoff hopes will likely be decided next week when A.L. Johnson faces Ellwood Christian. An A.L. Johnson win would clinch a playoff spot for the Bears.

Keith will host Loachapoka next week on homecoming in its final home game of the year.
