Harriet Lee Cole Wiltsie, age 67, of Selma, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George “Buddy” Wiltsie Sr.; children, Donna Lee “Dee” Wiltsie, George Wiltsie Jr. and Christie Nichols Kuropatwa (Adam); grandchildren, Jordan Willow Wiltsie, Lorelei Sydney Kuropatwa and Estoria Bloom Kuropatwa; siblings, William H. Cole Jr. (Jane), H. Matthews Cole (Andrea), Josephine Connors Cole and John William Cole (Kelli), other siblings, Bonnie Zimmerman and Miles (Ray) Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Donna M. Wiltsie; and her adopted mother, Susan Hartsfield Cole.
Lee was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She gave countless hours of her time to disadvantaged women and children through her work with the March of Dimes, Dallas County Child Protection Service and Sabra Sanctuary.
She was an active supporter of Wannabe Rescued and the Selma Animal Shelter. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Carmichael officiating.
Burial will follow at Catherine AL Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1–2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be, Billy Alsobrook, Claude Strother, Harold Wells, Ted Davis, Billy Davis and Paul Hull. Honorary pallbearers are, Sunshine Tennimon, John Pressley, Glenn James, Mike Friday and Dana Hollis.
