It had only been one game since the Morgan girls’ basketball team scored just six points in a loss to Tuscaloosa Academy. On Tuesday, the Senators showed how much of a jump they could make in just a couple weeks.

Morgan (1-1) had much less trouble finding its offensive rhythm in a 40-35 road win over Evangel Christian Tuesday.

Eighth grader Caroline Thomas led the Senators with eight points and 10 rebounds. Emily Sherrer scored seven points, all of which came from the free throw line.

Senior Mary Stewart pulled down five rebounds, and freshman Ellie Adams added six steals.
