Dr. Henry Dixon

Dr. Henry Dixon, age 67, resident of Atlanta and formerly of Selma, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at Grady Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. at Miller Chapel officiated by Rev. Dan M. Moore. Burial will follow in Mt. Gillard Cemetery in Tyler directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

DIXON

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie V. Dixon, father, Wilmon Dixon; and three brothers, Wilbert E. Dixon, Oscar N. Dixon and Cecil L. Dixon.

Survivors include two brothers, Ronald M. Dixon and Louis Dixon; one sister-in-law; two nieces; two nephews; a host of friends, Vincent Cunningham, Priscilla Kitt, Robert Edward, Mike Perkson and Henry Carmichael; and a special thanks to Willie M. Taylor, George Rhodes and Eli Seaborn.
