Likely, WCCS head into ACCC Tournament

Wallace Community College Selma ended its regular season with a 66-60 victory over Enterprise Monday night. Ki’Onna Likely had a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds to along with six steals. Amber Ward added 13 points for the Patriots and Alexis Lewis had and Frenika Craig scored 10 apiece.
Wallace finished second in the south division of the Alabama Community College Conference with an 8-4 record. The Patriots earned a second seed in the ACCC Tournament, which will start March 1 at 5 p.m. in Hanceville at Wallace State.
Likely finished the regular season as the leading scorer in the ACCC after averaging 21.2 points per game. She also finished seventh in scoring in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division 1.
Likely also led the ACCC in field goal percentage after shooting 61.1 percentage from the floor and she was tenth in the NJCAA.
She finished fifth in the ACCC in rebounding.
