Jacqueline Young, 69, of Selma, passed away March 31, 2016, at her home. Services are scheduled for April 9 at 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Darryl Moore officiating. Body will lie in state at noon.

Burial will be held in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Nelson and father, Percy Gardner. She is survived by her daughters, Juanita (Henry) Marzette of Snellville, Georgia, and Angela (Cornell) Smiley of Selma; she was also a loving mother to Sheila Savage of Selma; brothers, John (Dee Dee) Dean of Sacremento, California, and Robert (Fannie) Davis of Selma; sisters, Patricia (Roger) Thompson of Selma and Paula (Winston) Williams of Montgomery.
