All of the local high schools are either in the midst of spring football practices or already have their spring practices mapped out. Here’s a look at what each team is doing this spring:

Southside started spring training Monday and will host a spring game May 6 at 7 p.m. against A.L. Johnson.

Dallas County will start spring practice Monday and will play at West Blocton on May 7 at 6 p.m. for its spring game.

Ellwood Christian will start spring practices Monday and will play at Holy Spirit on May 12 for its spring game.

Selma will start spring practices Tuesday and will play its spring game May 13 at Robert E. Lee.

Keith will play its spring game May 12 at Holt.

Meadowview Christian will start spring practices May 2 and is in talks to play a spring game at Cahawba Christian May 13 or 14.

Morgan Academy currently does not have a spring training schedule, according to athletic director Jake Wingo. The school is still searching for a football coach for next season.
