April 18

Co-Op 8, Quality Trophy 6 (11-12)

Co-Op used a seven-run first inning to defeat Quality Trophy 8-6. No individual statistics were provided for this game.

Trustmark 7, Dallas Air & Heat 2 (7-8)

James Thomas and Frederick Gilmore each scored two runs for Trustmark to lead their team to a 7-2 win over Dallas Air & Heat. Patrick Johnson, Braden Little and Thomas Atchison also scored runs for Trustmark. Raquez Broadnax and Kendarius Bennett crossed home plate for Dallas Air & Heat.

Captain D’s 10, Robinson Legal 0 (7-8)

Quamarian Pernell and Venetris Eaton scored a pair of runs and Devin Woods hit a home run for Captain D’s on their way to a 10-0 win over Robinson Legal. Darrius Smith and Omari Smith each contributed a run to Captain D’s total.

VFW 8, Bent Tree 6 (11-12)

Arthur Vaughn scored two runs for VFW to lead his team past Bent Tree 8-6. Kenneth Dukes Jarius Walker, Lane Nichols and Jordan Bolden each scored once for VFW. For Bent Tree, Matthew King scored twice, while Robert Beers, Noah Smith, Nathan Johnson and Trent Mims scored one run apiece.

Neely Charter 7, KFC 6 (9-10)

Jason Rogers Jr. and Joshua Palmer crossed home plate twice for Neely Charter to lead their team to a 7-6 win over KFC. Jaydin Hardy, Jameir Edwards and Roosevelt Sanders each scored once for Neely Charter. Tyshawn McGuire led KFC with two runs, while Joshua Davis III, JaTavious McGraw, Tariq Mangram and Mi’Uhon Callen scored once.

Frazer Group 22, Selma Lion’s Club 7 (9-10)

Frazer Group scored four or more runs in each of four innings to beat Selma Lion’s Club 22-7. Marquarius Reese and Shamar Jones each had a hit in the first inning. In the second inning, Aiden Foley, George Fails III, Chandler Sheehan, Ronnie Leshore Jr., Frederick Gilmore, Jalen Prince and Jack Whiddon each scored for Frazer Group. For the Lion’s Club, Jadarius Lewis, Gershawn Moore and Jackson Foley, John McClure, Seir Blake and Titus Lanier all scored.

Sierra Mist 16, Cougar Chevron 2 (7-8)

Jaden McGee, Breanna Bennett, Kensley Browder, Madison Hudson and MarTasis Hardy all scored two runs each as Sierra Mist beat Cougar Chevron 16-2. TyLiyah Sheppard, Nakaiya Stubbs, Amirrah Brown, MaAliyah Matthews, Jalasiah Sutterwhite and Kalexis Cole also added runs for Sierra Mist. For Cougar Chevron, Aniyah Hatcher scored.

First Cahawba Bank 20, American Legion 7 (7-8)

First Cahawba’s Christy Hasberry led all players with three runs as First Cahawba Bank beat American Legion 20-7. For First Cahawba, Jamesha Prevo, LyShell Richardson, Jaidyn Dixon, Jaikira Colvin, Cadreanna Moore, Keemya Henderson and Jakira Tolbert all scored twice. Alicyia Hosea, Darrica Whitlock and Rakyah Gregory scored once. For American Legion, Kathryn Elam and Elizabeth Manning scored twice. Addison Bond, Felicity Drake and Regan Sebren scored once.
