Two men killed in separate accidents

Two Selma men were killed in separate vehicle accidents about 30 minutes apart Saturday night.
The first crash happened about 9:10 p.m. on Dallas County 16 about 10 miles east of Selma. David Earl Spangenberg, 55, died after the 1999 Ford Bronco he was driving left the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned.
Spangenberg, who was not using a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to Senior Trooper Reginal King, a preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
The second accident happed about 9:40 p.m. Carl Lewis Greene Jr., 32, died when the Suzuki motorcycle he was riding collided with a 2007 Lincoln Navigator on U.S. 80 near the 90-mile marker.
Greene was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Lincoln was not injured.
No further information was available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate both accidents.
