The annual Sav-A-Life golf tournament will be held Saturday at Valley Grande Golf Course.
The tournament, which is a three-man scramble, will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Check in begins at 8 a.m.
The tournament plays a vital role in supporting Safe Harbor Women’s Clinic, which supports women and families facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy.
“These types of fundraisers, the golf tournament, the bass tournament, the banquet, are all fundraisers to help them meet their annual budget,” said Matt Dobbs, who is organizing this year’s tournament.
Dobbs said the tournament was almost filled up Tuesday evening. The number of teams in the field depends on how many golf carts are available. As of Tuesday, 19 teams were registered.
The entry fee is $70 per player or $210 per team. The entry fee includes three mulligans per player, three tickets for door prize drawings, lunch and non-alcoholic beverages. For more information, contact Dobbs at 375-0547.
