DCHS can’t keep up with McAdory

For almost an entire half, Dallas County played McAdory evenly Friday night.
That all changed right before the break, when the Yellow Jackets marched 99 yards for a game changing touchdown drive.
The Hornets fumbled the ensuing kickoff and gave up another touchdown with 6.3 seconds left in the half.
McAdory led 19-0 at that point and went on to win 33-6.
Alex Kendrick scored Dallas County’s lone touchdown on a 6-yard run in the fourth quarter.
“We did not do a good job of getting in proper alignment right before half and that falls back on coaching,” said Dallas County coach Marty Smith. “We have got to do a better job of carrying things we work on in practice and carry it over into games.”
Dallas County (0-1) hosts Calera next week.
