The Selma Police Department is searching for two suspects that broke into the Central Alabama Farmer’s Co-Op Wednesday morning and stole about 10 guns.
The police department responded to a call of a burglary alarm at the Co-Op between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., according to Selma Police Chief John Brock. They have a video of two suspects and have notified the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who is assisting in the case.
Brock said a manager of the store told him about 10 guns were missing.
On Friday, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in conjunction with SPD, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and the National Shooting Sports Foundation offered a $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Anyone with information is asked to call at 874-2190, 874-2125 or Crimestoppers at 1-866-442-7463.
