Several guns were seized from the property. The names of the people arrested and the charges had not been announced as of Wednesday afternoon. Lt. Sam Miller with the Selma Police Department wrote in a press release that the search warrant was conducted in reference to several complaints of illegal drug sales and subjects firing hand guns and rifles recklessly.

“We’ve had a lot of problems in that neighborhood. The neighbors in that neighborhood have been complaining about the gunshots. Several houses in that neighborhood, the houses next to this house, got shot into and they’ve been complaining,” Brock said.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Drug Enforcement Administration are assisting in the investigation.

“This is not over with. This is just step one of the investigation. There are going to be many more arrests, many more search warrants executed,” Brock said. “This is just the tip of the iceberg.”
