A Selma man died in a two vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 80 early Saturday morning.

Michael Jermaine Powell, 28, was killed when the Honda Accord he was driving was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. The crash took place at 12:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 80 near the 90-mile marker, which is three miles east of Selma.

The other driver was transported to an area hospital and was treated for their injuries.

Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the incident.
