Marion Military Institute will soon welcome Sgt. Noah Galloway as keynote speaker at the MMI Leadership Symposium.

Galloway, a father of three from Birmingham, is a combat veteran who reinvented his career as a personal trainer after suffering the loss of two limbs in Iraq.

He is the author of “Living with No Excuses,” was featured on a 2014 “Men’s Health” cover and was on season 20 of “Dancing with the Stars,” where he finished in third place.

Most recently, Galloway served as cadre on the FOX show American Grit.

Galloway will speak to the audience about his story and book.

The event will talk place Wednesday, April 5 at 1 p.m. in the Ireland Athletic Center.

A book signing will follow in the MMI Chapel reception area. A limited number of books will be available on the day of.
