This week and next week hundreds of high school seniors will walk across the stage to get their diplomas.

During that time the Times-Journal will feature stories on each of the seven area high schools’ valedictorians.

Graduating is a great honor and an achievement everyone should be proud of. We want to recognize each of the valedictorians for all of their hard work and dedication they have put in over the last four years to make it to this point. It says a lot about someone at the top of their class.

So far, we have featured Morgan Academy’s valedictorian, Annie Talton, and in this issue readers will find a story on Meadowview Christian’s valedictorian, Shelby Boswell.

The next valedictorian the Times-Journal will feature is Ellwood Christian Academy’s Larry McGary Jr.

The other area schools have not confirmed their valedictorians yet, but we look forward to featuring them as well and learning about their drive and passion and discussing what they want to do in the future.
