Clyde Wayne Swindal 75, of Sprott, passed away Oct. 18, 2017, at his residence. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 21, 2017, at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. John Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion chapel directing. Burial will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
He was born Aug. 17, 1942, in Sprott, to William Clyde and Effie Osburn Jones Swindal.
He was preceded by his parents; grandparents, Ada and Lloyd Swindal and Lula and Lee Jones.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 55 years, Faye Hughey Swindal; brothers, Johnny Swindal of Marion and Dewey Osburn of Empire; a loving great niece, Abbie Taylor; a number of friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wade Taylor, Randy Hughey, Kyle Hughey, Richard Hughey, Scott Swindal and Johnny Swindal.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ephesus Cemetery or Siloam Baptist Church.
