This past Sunday, May 26, four men got into an altercation near the apartment complex on Buck Street in Uniontown, which resulted in the death of 25-year old Kaderrick Dansby.
Dansby’s death was determined to be caused by blunt force trauma to the back of his head.
Roshawd Sheppard, 25, was charged with Dansby’s murder and Tyrelle Barnett, 23, was charged with second-degree assault of Quinton McGhee, according to district attorney Michael Jackson.
“Two guys were fighting two other guys after a female, who had gotten into a dispute with the two victims, called the other two guys [Sheppard and McGhee] to come to the scene and they got into a fight,” Jackson said.
911 wasn’t called, and Dansby was at the scene of the altercation for approximately 30 minutes. He was later transported to UAB where he was pronounced dead.
Sheppard and Barnett are in Perry County Jail with no bond, according to Jackson.
