Edward Bracy Foxworth Jr.

On Sunday, June 10, 2018 Bracy, 66, succumbed to the injuries he sustained in a fall. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bracy Sr. and Lucille Foxworth. He is survived by his brother Fred Bottcher, his daughter Annabelle (Derry) Bone, 3 stepdaughters, Lisa (Lee) Hixon, Cheri Allen and Jennifer (Jimmy) Brown, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Bracy was born in Selma and graduated from A.G. Parrish High School in 1969. After attending the University of Alabama Bracy returned to Selma and married. He and his family lived many places before settling again in Selma. He had moved to Montgomery in recent years to be near his brother. He found work part time at the Alabama Supreme Court Law Library. A job he truly enjoyed where he made many friends.
Bracy was a man of a great many varied passions, most notably music and social justice. He always wore a smile, no matter his circumstances, and could entice a laugh from any audience. He will be greatly missed by many.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m. (visitation at 1 p.m.) at Barrett Road United Methodist Church.
