Four weeks into the season and the No. 9 Morgan Academy Senators cracked the ASWA top-10 football rankings.

The Senators split their first two games against ranked teams so far this season.

A convincing 40-2 region game win at Lee- Scott Academy this past Friday night made the Senators 3-1 on the season.

The Senators don’t face another ranked opponent until the Oct. 4 game at No. 7 Bessemer Academy. Two weeks after the Bessemer game, Morgan hosts No. 1 Tuscaloosa Academy.
