Trustmark Bank recently announced the promotion of Tammy Rose to Assistant Vice President at the Selma Mall branch.

Rose, who also serves as Branch Manager, said she was thrilled to get the promotion.

“I feel honored to get the promotion,” Rose said. “I enjoy working with the customers and meeting their needs. Trustmark is a wonderful company to work for. My co-workers are great assets. It takes everyone to make a branch work successfully.”

Rose, 49, has spent the last 16 years working at Trustmark. Her career began at the call center in 2002 and eventually worked in the Collector’s Department. She has spent the last six years as Branch manager.

Rose said she plans to retire working at Trustmark, whose headquarters is in Jackson, Mississippi. Trustmark has over 200 locations in the states of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.

“I’ll continue to work here until I retire,” Rose said. “I love the banking industry. I enjoy my job.”

Rose is a 1987 graduate of Dallas County High School. She’s been married for 31 years to Robbie Rose.  They have a son, Robert Rose, who’s married to Jessica Rose. Rose has two grandchildren, Ann Miller Howe, 5, and Avery Harper Rose, 2.
