Shelbra McDonald has spent the last 10 years as an educator.

The Raymond, Mississippi native has spent six years as an auxiliary educator and four years as a lead teacher.

She currently teaches Pre-K at Byrd First Class Early Learning Center.

Her joys in life are her faith, family and teaching career with Pre-K children.

She also is involved in numerous community events.

“I have participated in school supply drives, meals on wheels, community cleanup initiatives and food drives,” she said. “I enjoy reading faith-based books, creating new and different meal ideas for my family and family road trips.”
