Nathan Lymond Richburg

Nathan Lymond Richburg, age 83 of Selma died October 23, 2018 at his home.

Visitation services will be held at Selma Funeral Home on Saturday, October 27 at 12:30 p.m.

Services will be at 2: p.m. with Dennis Turner and Timothy Richburg officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard Richburg and Beulah Richburg; brothers, Howard Richburg Jr. and Alfred Richburg;  sisters, Juanita Munich and Hope Richburg.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 wonderful years, Jean Richburg; sons, Timothy Richburg (Sheryl) and Eric Richburg (Starla); daughter, Stephanie Cuomo (Chris); brother, Larry Richburg (Betty); grandchildren, Autumn and Abigail Richburg and numerous nieces and nephews

He was born September 24, 1935 in Cedar Key, Florida. Nathan was an employment counselor for the state of Alabama for 13 years. He was also the owner and operator of Southside Service Station and Grocery Store for 31 years. He was a minister for the Church of Christ. He was also a Bible school teacher for 50 years at Highland Avenue Church of Christ where he also served as a Deacon and Elder.

Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, James Miller, David Bagby, Steve Chance, Gabe Landrum and Gary Landrum.

Honorary pallbearers are the men of Highland Church of Christ. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for the compassion and care they provided to our family
