Two Friday night shootings being investigated by SPD

The Selma Police Department (SPD) is investigating two shootings that occurred on Friday night.
One 22-year-old male was shot “multiple times” around 7 p.m. in a vehicle at the intersection of Church Street and 4th Avenue, according to SPD Chief Spencer Collier.
Collier said the victim was transported to Vaughan.
As of press time, no more information was released on this case regarding the victim’s condition.
At 9:20 p.m., a vehicle was shot into a vehicle at the Selma High School during a basketball game.
Collier said no one was in the vehicle during the time of the shooting, and that just property damage was sustained.
As of press time, no further information was given regarding either shooting as far as arrests or the victim’s condition in the Church Street shooting.
